  • Virus Protection          
A virus is a program that causes malicious change in your computer and makes copies of itself.Sophisticated viruses encrypt and hide themselves to thwart detection.Ther are tens of thou-sands of viruses that your computer can catch.Known viruses are referred to as being "in the wild." Research laboratories and
universities study viruses for commercial and academic pur-poses.Ther viruses are known as being "in the zoo,"or not out in the wild.Every month,the number of viruses in the wild increases.  
  • Types of viruses  
Several types of viruses exist,but the popular ones are file viruses, macro viruses,and boot sector viruses.Each type differs slightly in the way it works and how it infects your system.Many viruses attack popular application such as Microsoft Word,Excel,and PowerPoint;they are easy to use and it's easy to create a virus for them.Because writing a unique virus is consid-ered a challenge to a bored programmer,viruses are becoming more complex and harder to eradicate.

  • file viruses 
A file virus attacks executable application and system program files,such as those ending in .COM,.EXE,and .DLL.Most of these types of viruses replace some or all of the program code with their own.Only once the virus cause its damage.this includes load-ing itself into memory and waiting to infect other executable,further propagating its poten-tially destructive effect throughout a system or network.
  • Macro viruses 
A macro is a script of commonly enacted commands that are sued to automatically perform pore-actions without a user's intervention.Macro viruses use the Visual Basic macro scripting language to perform malicious or mischievous function in data files created with Microsoft Office
